Rowena read (Bookseller); I really enjoyed the hybrid of written novel with expressive graphic's. The black & white illustration's are wonderfully spooky and add a brilliant dramatic effect to the story, although it's not for those who are easily scared.
I would recommend visiting the chicken house publishing website for a sample read.
This is one hell of a middle-grade read, the kind that will spark imaginations as it is read late at night under the covers with a flashlight....A wonderfully frightening tale. (Horror. 9-12) - Kirkus Review
