Ka Aroha Hoki! (Oops! Ouch! Yuk!) is the sixth of twenty books of the Bud-e Reading programme for children from four to seven years old that are now available in te reo Māori.
The books encourage children to learn to read and write through fun stories and also develop children’s reading confidence. All of the stories have humour, engaging characters and amusing illustrations that capture children’s interest. The books gradually introduce new words and constructions and build the word bank children need to become independent readers.
