Read & review by Jan (local School Librarian); Billy loves to tell jokes and make people laugh. His dream is to become a world-famous comedian one day. But Billy has a very big problem – he stutters...badly. It means he’s often a target for bullies and when he starts senior school, it seems things will be much the same for him as before. However, his teacher Mr Osho and his loving grandma encourage him to follow his passion and enter the end of term talent show.
A great read for anyone wanting to face their fears or who are struggling to find their place in the world. Recommended.

Billy is an eleven-year-old boy with a big dream. He wants to be a stand-up comedian when he grows up: delivering pinpoint punch-lines and having audiences hang on his every hilarious word. A tough career for anyone, but surely impossible for Billy, who has a stammer. How will he find his voice, if his voice won't let him speak?
